Mike is a graduate of Hartland High School (2000).  He played baseball while attending Albion College where he received a degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science.  He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).   He is also certified through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA) for Youth Speed and Agility Training.  

 

Mike is the Performance Training Director at the Hamburg branch of Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists where he works with athletes of all ages to improve athletic performance as well as decrease the likelihood of injury.  Mike has also been a part of the Hartland High School baseball coaching staff since 2005 and has overseen the strength training program for multiple local high school teams.

 

Mike married his wife Beth in October of 2009 and they now live together in Okemos.
